Release Date & Renewal Status
The official release date for the second season of this series is not announced yet but it is going to happen very soon and most probably anytime in 2022. Although the second season was expected to happen a little early, but due to that pandemic it was badly affected as some of the cast members were tested positive and hence all the work was postponed infinitely, and till now no official announcement has been made regarding the resuming of the work. As soon as the creators announce the release date for season 2 we will update that here.

The first season of this series was having Shahar Isaac in the role of Simon Peter, Jonathan Roumie playing the role of Jesus, Elizabeth Tabish will be seen as Mary Magdalene, Paras Patel playing as Matthew, Noah James in the role of Andrew, Janis Dardaris playing the role of Zohara, Lara Silva will be seen as Eden, Shayan Sharma in the role of Shmuel, and Nick Shakoour playing the role of Zebedee in the lead roles and because of their amazing performances it is for sure that even in the second season they all will be definitely seen again.
The Chosen Season 1: Plot & Recap
The first episodes are set in Capernaum where a lot of men were introduced included Jesus as a wandering craftsman. In the very first season, a lot of things from the life of Jesus were shown that most of the people might not be familiar with. Earlier it was shown that two brothers who were in a lot of debt to Rome and a woman wrestles with the demons. With the story going at a good pace, it lands on the time when Jesus befriends some children who found his camp in the outskirts of Capernaum and then Jesus starts teaching them. Then the life happenings of Pharisee Nicodemus, tax collector Matthew, fishermen brothers Andrew and Simon, demon-possessed Mary Magdalene and how some of them met Jesus and how they get benefited from him to how Jesus announced him as the Messiah was shown. How all of them met Jesus in different ways and how life came them in front of Jesus and the good deeds and the purity of Jesus benefited them and helped them in different ways was shown.
