3. Your Lie in April
It’s a music-centric slice of life’s anime, deep rather than easy and light-hearted. A piano prodigy named Kōsei Arima suffers from a major breakdown after his mother’s death, leaving him unable to hear the sound of the piano. He had a change of heart when he met a budding violinist named Kaori Miyazono and began to regenerate his love for music and life. Trigun, an anime that’s really popular with the western audience. This anime is set in a post-apocalyptic future and follows Vash who is claimed to be the most wanted criminal and has a bounty of $60 billion (“double dollar”) on his back, but in fact, he is a kind-hearted guy who is willing to be friends with new characters and refuses to destroy his enemies. It’s one of the best western-themed anime spaces of all time, and it’s said to be like the quality of Cowboy Beebop.
5. Baccano!
Baccano! Another great anime series that remains understated and true fans of this anime want another anime season and I desperately need another one. Based on the light novel by Ryogo Narita it features criminals and alchemists from America’s 1930s alternative world. The series tells the story in a non-linear fashion featuring characters from gangsters, immortal beings, criminals, monsters, alchemists, and more. The anime is a melting pot of excitement and it’s all set to a swanky jazz track-list, even better yet.

7. Wolf’s Rain
The series is a dark fantasy series that tells us a story about a pack of wolves looking for a place called paradise to spend the rest of their lives. It’s a little overlooked and it’s still undervalued, it’s known for its storytelling, and I was shocked to know that this anime was produced in the early 2000s and a well-made animated series. The story is told from the point of view of the wolves, but it also shifts to supporting human characters, which are also the most intriguing part of the anime.
