When the player collects seven of them, they will achieve a Research Breakthrough, which will get you more rewards, like an encounter with a special Pokemon. In January, the Research Breakthrough reward was Lapras that knew Ice Beam or Ice Shard, but this month, players have a chance to catch a new Gen 5 Pokemon called Woobat. These Field Research tasks that can be obtained will randomly be drawn from a larger pool, which means there is a way you can tell what you will get. Players can activate up to three Field Research tasks. They can even discard any that may be giving you trouble, and they can get different tasks from PokeStop. Furthermore, we suggest you complete these tasks as soon as possible because February is a very busy month that as a lot of events. This list of updated Pokemon Go’s Field Research tasks was first revealed by The Silph Road, who’s the guide you can see by clicking right here. Here are the February Field Research Tasks.
