One Punch Man is not simple cartoon that will be animated on computers and that will complete the work. It is drawn on paper, for the characters to develop, they make storyboards, and then they use the computers to depict the story they want. Therefore, it would not be an easy task to complete another season of the show! The main good news is, Murata Yasuke has confirmed that there will be another season of One Punch Man, as he has started working on season 2 already. However, it will required 100 sketches, inked pages, and storyboards to first make a foundation, using which the computer edit and animation will take place and the show will complete another season. To do so, it will take at least a couple of years. We are believing that the earliest would be a couple of years, but it does not mean that it will release in 2017. It might release earlier (which is nearly impossible), or could be delayed as there’s a ton of work to be done. So, the fans should not hold their breath, and just try to have patience as it is a time consuming process and the makers will surely not rush it!
